how much are your dresses?

Kindred carries dresses from $1500 - $5000, with most of our inventory falling in the $2500 - $3500 range.

how far in advance should i begin dress shopping?

We recommend that you begin shopping 9-12 months ahead of your wedding date, and purchase within 8-10 months of your big day. This ensures that you are not rushed in your decision making and that there is plenty of time for your dress to come in, as lead times for our designers take anywhere from 4-6 months. However, we have reasonable rush options, discounted off-the-rack samples, and a few designers who can work with a tight timeline if needed! We got you.

what size gowns are available to try on?

Our samples range from size 4 - 14. We have ways of fitting up to a size 14, and can order several of our gowns in up to a size 20 depending on the designer. We have future plans to carry a broader spectrum of sizes to accommodate more brides.

All of our dresses are made to order. This means you will be trying on a sample with us and ordering the dress closest to that size based on the measurements we take in store, and then coming back to pick it up (or we ship!) once it has arrived.

Do I take my dress home the day I try it on?

What if my dress needs to be altered?

You will need alterations to your dress, since it is made in the closest size to your body and not your exact measurements, and every body is different. We do not have a seamstress in house nor work directly with one, but would be happy to make a recommendation to you.

what if there's a specific dress I want try on by a designer you carry, but it's not in your shop?

Although we can't carry a designer's entire collection, we can sometimes request a certain style in for your appointment for a fee to cover shipping & handling. If there’s a gown you’re seriously crushing on, shoot us an email and we can talk options: hello@kindredbridal.com

What exactly is a trunk show?

Trunk shows are opportunities for a designer to bring in more of a collection or special pieces that we don't carry in our shop. If you have your eye on a certain designer, a trunk show is an incredible time to exclusively focus on their dresses - sometimes we have special pricing offered for that weekend as well. These fill up fast, so check our events page and book early.
